MORE INFO: Phoenix Wormsprovide high levels of natural lauric acid. Lauric acid is known for its excellent antimicrobial properties including potent activity against lipid coated viruses, clostridium and pathogenic protozoa including coccidia. Lauric acid is a medium chain saturated fatty acid found in Phoenix Worms as well as some vegetable oils and in dairy products. 53% of the fat in Phoenix Worms is beneficial lauric acid.
Stay fresh in their cup for weeks at room temperature or even longer if kept at an optimum temperature of 50º – 60º F and they do not need to be fed & make no noise!

NOTE: Butterworms are high in calcium & will keep in the fridge for 2-3 months, however they are not locally bred (always imported) — Phoenix Worms are VERY high in calcium, great for egg laying/ breeding reptiles, you DO NOT need to supplement feed calcium when feeding these worms!!
